Amazon-owned Ring has a new camera in the US: a flying drone camera that will investigate potential intruders when you are out of the house. The Ring Always Home flies around your home making sure everything is as its should be; the dog isn’t wrecking the living room, you didn’t leave the oven on; no one is trying to climb through the window. It streams video to your smartphone in 1080p so you can see every detail, and when not in use, the Ring Always Home sits in a dock that covers its camera. There is something more than a little sci-fi about a flying security camera that essentially patrols your home like a mini sentry. The camera is an invite-only purchase in the US at the moment.
