Novosco, the Belfast-headquartered managed cloud provider, has signed a deal estimated to be worth more than £10 million with the Notting Hill Housing Association which manages nearly 32,000 properties across London.

The company, which has operations in Belfast, Manchester, Dublin, and Cork, will provide a range of IT services as part of the five-year deal.

Novosco managing director Patrick McAliskey said the company’s latest contract win adds to a fast-growing client list, which also includes Swan Housing, Northwards Housing in England and Radius, which has in the region of 33,000 homes in Northern Ireland.

Mr McAliskey added: “Notting Hill is one of the largest housing associations in London, and Novosco looks forward to providing it with an innovative service across a wide range of areas including service desk, security, and disaster recovery.”

Andrew Muir, group director of corporate services at Notting Hill Housing, said the Belfast company's ability to provide successful cloud solutions to other organisations in the sector was just one of the reasons why it had been chosen above other competitors.

“With so many residents relying on us every day it is absolutely vital that our IT systems are efficient, stable and secure. For that reason, we look forward to working with Novosco, who have a proven track record in providing a high-quality service to the housing sector and beyond,” Mr Muir said.

The Northern Ireland company, which last year acquired the English specialist IT security solutions and managed services firm NetDef, employs nearly 150 people.
