Lightors Monster Battery set to shake up rechargables

Lightors is hoping to change the fate of the humble battery by making it more convenient than your average rechargeable

Rechargeable batteries aren’t something you think about much. They’re just there, usually depleted, and then thrown back in a drawer until the next time you have a battery emergency. There’s not much you can do with them to make them more appealing or more innovative, right? Wrong.

Lightors is hoping to change the fate of the humble battery by making it more convenient than your average rechargeable. For one thing, they don't need a special charging unit to power them up: the batteries can be charged via a micro USB cable. They can be charged up to 500 times before you might need to invest in some more, and they come in AA and AAA sizes, handily covering most remote controls and kids' toys.
