Kellton Tech to create 100 jobs in Drogheda

Global IT company Kellton Tech is to establish its EMEA headquarters in Drogheda, Co Louth, creating 100 jobs over five years.

Kellton Tech enables businesses to make the digital leap through its broad range of IT offerings with particular focus on Internet of things, social, mobile, analytics, cloud and enterprise resource planning. The company's clients include DuPont, Novartis, JP Morgan, Nike, Starbucks and Groupon.

Kellton Tech chief executive Karanjit Singh said the language edge and time-difference makes Ireland a highly advantageous proposition for technical support, sales-enablement and accounting.

“Given that the US region contributes substantially to our revenue, the Ireland office will also be best-equipped to support US operations.”

Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation Richard Bruton said the announcement by Kellton Tech that it is establishing its EMEA HQ in Drogheda, and creating 100 extra jobs is a major boost for the North East and for regional plans generally. The EMEA headquarters will also house an R&D facility.
