. com, a Dublin-based hair salon marketing and booking website that is forecasting a rise in revenues to

€10 million this year, has acquired rival SalonAddict for an undisclosed sum.

The company is to create 14 new jobs in the areas of sales and marketing following the acquisition.

Beautifi has 1,500 salons signed to date in Ireland and Britain, including Peter Mark, for its platform, which enables consumers to book hair appointments online. The company achieved€2 million in booking revenue for customers last year and expects this to rise by €8 million in 2016.

"The acquisition of SalonAddict sees us move a step closer to our goal to be the largest hair and beauty booking website globally," said founder and chief executive Richard Spence. "The focus is now to further grow the customer base in Ireland and the UK and to launch into a number of new cities across Europe and the US."
