Security systems firm designs, installs and services electronic security

Security systems firm Convergint is to expand its Irish operation with the recruitment of 50 staff over the next two years.

The $1.7 billion global company designs, installs and services electronic security, cybersecurity, fire and life safety, building automation and audio-visual systems. It acquired Ireland’s largest independently-owned security systems company, Dublin-based MTS Security, in 2019.

Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Leo Varadkar said: " Convergint have had a presence in Ireland since 2016, and I really welcome this latest expansion and their continued commitment to Ireland. I wish the team all the very best."
