Chargify appoints Sally O’Callaghan as EMEA regional director

Among priorities is growing the Irish office

Technology company Chargify has appointed a new regional director for its European operations, with Sally-Ann O'Callaghan taking up the role.

As EMEA regional director, Ms O’Callaghan will oversee the growth of operations as the company continues to invest in the region.

Established in 2009, Chargify developed a popular billing and subscription management solution. The US-based company has 2,300 clients worldwide and manages $10 billion in customer annual recurring revenue. It opened its Irish office in October 2020.

Prior to joining Chargify, Ms Callaghan worked at Dropbox for almost fve years, where she worked in various roles in business development and sales acquisition for the EMEA region.

Ms O’Callaghan will increase Chargify’s staff numbers in Dublin and expand its customer base.

“I’m thrilled to be joining Chargify at a time full of opportunity, as more and more industries are shifting to subscriptions, as well as usage and events-based business models,” said Ms O’Callaghan. “With the increased focus on this in EMEA, there are huge opportunities to help B2B SaaS companies successfully optimise customer value and growth.”

In April 2021, investment firm Battery Ventures led a $150 million investment in Chargify and SaaSOptics.

Ms O'Callaghan will repotrt to chief revenue officer Matt Downs, who joined the company last year following a decade at WorldPay, and eight years with First Data (Fiserv).
