BIG changes at the top at Blockbuster, the American video rental group that now owns Xtra Vision, with the surprise resignation of chief executive Bill Fields. The departure of Fields, a well regarded chief executive, did not do much for the share price of Viacom, the debt heavy (a modest $10 billion) media giant that owns Blockbuster, with the shares taking an immediate dive.
