People from Letterkenny to Cork will be able to attend question and answer sessions on the new European currency, the Euro Changeover Board said yesterday. Initiating a regional information roadshow in Dublin yesterday, the Minister for Finance, Mr McCreevy, said it was important that citizens across the State should have a chance to find out more about the project.

A paper-wheel converter showing pound and euro values and a booklet are to be distributed at each meeting, said the chairman of the Euro Changeover Board, Mr Philip Hamell.

The dates and locations arranged do far are: February 23rd, Mount Erigal Hotel, Letterkenny; February 24th, Silver Swan Hotel, Sligo; March 2nd, Bridge Hotel, Waterford; March 3rd and 4th, Imperial Hotel, Cork; March 9th Mount Brandon Hotel, Tralee; March 10th, Glentworth Hotel, Limerick; March 23rd, Traveller's Friend Hotel, Castlebar; and March 24th, Shamrock Lodge, Athlone.
