Pig-meat sector investment

An investment of £24

An investment of £24.5 million in five projects in the pig-meat sector is expected to create 266 jobs, the Minister of State at the Department of Agriculture and Food, Mr Ned O'Keeffe has announced. He said the jobs would be created in Roscommon, Cork, Tipperary, Offaly and Wicklow on foot of EU aid of £7 million, national grants of £1.2 million and the contributions of the companies involved.
