Openet Telecom, a Dublin-based independent telecommunications company, has signed a £500,000 hardware contract with Hewlett-Packard Ireland and its e-business partner Mentec.Openet, which recently signed a European deal with Nortel Networks, will run its mediation software on Hewlett-Packard servers. The contract covers the supply of Hewlett-Packard 9000 L-class servers.
