The last big state-owned oil company in western Europe was lined up for partial privatisation yesterday. The Norwegian government said it planned to sell 10-25 per cent of Statoil. With the company estimated to be worth about NKr150 billion (€18.48 billion) the sell-off will be the biggest privatisation in Norway's history.
