BRITISH Telecom is set to take over National Irish Bank's telecommunications. The company is entering negotiations with National Australia Bank group to set up a strategic partnership to provide the group's telecommunications.
As well as National Irish Bank, the group incorporates the Clydesdale Bank, Yorkshire Bank, National Australia Life and Northern Bank.
On completion of the negotiations and the due diligence process, BT will provide a range of services including voice and data networking, mobile communications and video conferencing.
