New Irish Times business show - listen to the pilot

The new Irish Times business and technology podcast is being piloted today.

The show is presented by award-winning journalist Tom Lyons and produced by Sinéad O'Shea. It will be available for download or streaming every Friday morning.

In this week's pilot, Tom and Irish Times Business Editor John McManus discuss the challenges facing glass and tin manufacturer giant Ardagh as it fights to complete a multibillion deal in America. We also go inside the battle for control of troubled building group Siac with Barry O'Halloran, while Ciara O'Brien explains just why Google is prepared to pay $3.2 billion for smart-home hardware maker Nest.
