Data management software, which allows real-time data manipulation by simply clicking directly into a database using a standard Web browser, has been launched by the Dublin-based firm, e-Spatial Solutions.

This means that an employee can quickly access a company's global database from any PC, laptop, or even WAP phone, regardless of the location and without the need for any special software, according to Mr Colman Candy, chief executive of eSpatial Solutions.

"Information can be updated or extracted instantly and, if authorised, any changes to the database will be instantaneous. In this way, live, interactive databases are now available to anyone with a browser and a password," he said.
