The appointment of a new chairman at Oakhill, the print and packaging group, was "imminent", shareholders were told at yesterday's annual general meeting.

Mr Gerard O'Toole, acting chairman, said management had prepared a strategic plan and an appointment to replace Mr Donal Chambers, who resigned from the board yesterday, would be made shortly.
