Newbridge Networks, the Canadian networking company headed by Irishman Mr Pearse Flynn, says revenue for its fourth quarter is expected to be more than $600 million.

The company, which employs 24 people at its logistics and distribution centre in Shannon, will be acquired by Alcatel later this month subject to approval by Newbridge shareholders.
