NCB Stockbrokers yesterday introduced what it says is Ireland's first Web-based stockbroking educational programme for retail investors. Developed by Intuition Publishing, along with NCB Stockbrokers, "Invest For Success" is accessible through NCB's website.

It provides comprehensive details on all aspects of dealing on the stock market, from predicting company performance and reading economic indicators to trading ethics and regulations, NCB says.

The programme is structured into three sections: The Knowledge Portfolio; The Web Investor; and The Successful Investor, and provides a glossary of terms and tips on each subject matter. Yesterday's presentation is the first phase of the programme, NCB says. Phase two will be available early in the new year.
