Jinny Software, the Dublin-based mobile Internet solutions company, has secured a contract with Bahrain telecommunications company Batelco, worth $2.5 million (€2.9 million). Jinny will provide the infrastructure and applications for the delivery of Internet content and information services to Batelco's 190,000 GSM mobile phone subscribers.

Jinny has also announced the opening of its first regional office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
