LOTS of dough in bread, at least judging from the latest figures from Joseph Brennan Bakeries, the company of Old Mr Brennan fame.

This company is remarkable in having just two shares, one held by Joe Brennan and the other by Jean Brennan and these must rank as the most valuable shares around judging by the amount of money Brennan Bakeries churns out.

Even with a conservative valuation, the two shares held by the Brennans must be worth at least £10 million each.

The most recent results from Brennan Bakeries are three years old, but even these show a hugely profitable outfit, with profits of over £3.5 million on sales of £36 million.
