A group of CountyGlen shareholders has launched a campaign to have an inspector appointed to the now-defunct company.

The shareholders took out an advertisement in The Irish Times yesterday, inviting other shareholders to join them in petitioning the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Ms Mary Harney, for the appointment of an inspector.

They are also seeking information from CountyGlen's directors, through the liquidator, about the company's business transactions.
