Horizon Technology Group has named Mr Cathal O'Caoimh to the post of chief financial officer. Mr O'Caoimh (43), who was previously group financial director at Hibernian/Norwich Union and managing director of Tribune Newspapers, will join the company next February.

Welcoming his arrival, Horizon chief executive Mr Samir Naji said Mr O'Caoimh brought experience of IT and e-commerce implementations as well as a financial background.
