Guinness Ireland has been asked to clarify plans for its two plants in Dundalk, Co Louth, which employ over 300 people.

The company is currently carrying out a review of its brewing and packaging operations in Ireland and England. However, a union official said the company had not met with union representatives and employees about the future.
