Austrian Airlines' e-commerce reservations website is to be developed by Dublin-based Gradient Solutions. The objective is to allow travellers to book Austrian Airlines flights directly over the Internet through the use of a customised version of Gradient's booking engine.
Meanwhile, Irish computer services company, Datapac, has won a contract worth more than £110,000 (€140,000) to supply more than a dozen HP net servers to Boole & Babbage Europe which has centralised its hardware purchasing and network management for Europe at its headquarters in Sandyford, Co Dublin. Boole & Babbage specialises in management solutions.
And Dublin software company, Precision Software Ltd, and JD Edwards of Denver have agreed a worldwide product alliance under the terms of which Precision had won new contracts to supply trade logistics systems to firms including Burmah Castrol and WL Gore & Associates.
