The managing director of First Active, Mr John Smyth, has purchased 47,550 shares in the company at a cost of £128,385.

Mr Smyth bought the shares at £2.70 and his total holding following the purchase is 71,230 shares.

He bought 40,000 shares for himself, 4,000 for his wife and 2,550 shares for two of his children.

Mr Paul Reville, group operations director bought 3,650 shares, costing him £9,855 and he now has 28,651 shares.
