Permanent TSB appoints new interim chief financial officer

Head of risk governance and strategy Declan Norgrove steps into role immediately

Permanent TSB Group Holdings has appointed a new interim chief financial officer, with Declan Norgrove stepping into the role.

Mr Norgrove is currently head of risk governance and strategy at Permanent TSB, and has held a number of senior leadership roles with the bank over the past 15 years. Among his previous roles were group head of finance, head of corporate development, and, head of financial accounting and operations.

Permanent TSB chief executive Eamonn Crowley said Mr Norgrove's knowledge and understanding of Permanent TSB would be of huge value as the bank embarks on a significant period of development over the coming year. "Declan is a seasoned leader who brings a wealth of experience to the role and I look forward to working with him in the time ahead," he said.

Mr Norgrove steps into the interim role immediately. The bank is still on the hunt for a permanent CFO.
