Investing in Irish art’s future

Benefits consultants Towers Watson put on a bit of a show at their new green office overlooking Trinity College this week.

The Dublin operation, which has grown from just two people back in 1976 to 150 now, has teamed up with the Royal Hibernian Academy (RHA) to support emerging Irish artists.

Work from three artists – Ed Miliano, Peter Burns and Neill Carroll – will be displayed in the office on South Leinster Street after being selected by company staff.

Opening the office, Minister for the Arts Jimmy Deenihan praised the company and managing director Ray McKenna, saying the initiative sent out a very positive statement that such links between business and art can be undertaken "without anyone sacrificing their principles".
