BankingNon-executive director Christopher Fisher took over as chairman of Bank of Ireland UK yesterday, following the resignation of Dennis Holt.
Mr Fisher was appointed a director of Bank of Ireland UK in March 2010 and has served as chairman of the audit committee and as a member of the risk committee. He has worked in corporate finance for more than 30 years and is a senior partner at Penfida.
Former chief executive of Northern Ireland Electricity, Patrick Haren, and former chief financial officer of Airtricity, Senan Murphy, have joined the Bank of Ireland UK board as non-executive directors.
Mr Holt was appointed to the board as both director and chairman of Bank of Ireland UK in March 2010.
