Some customers were unable to log into bank’s mobile app

Bank of Ireland has said technology problems experienced by some customers on Wednesday morning have been resolved. The issues had seen left customers unable to access their accounts online.

A spokeswoman for Bank of Ireland said she could not disclose the number of customers affected, but she confirmed that the problems had been fixed.

“Earlier today we were made aware that some of our customers were experiencing difficulties accessing online and mobile app banking. We can confirm that both the Bank of Ireland mobile app and Banking 365 are now functioning normally,” she said.
