ExxonMobil, the world's largest oil company, reported second quarter results of $4.155 billion (€4.46 billion) yesterday, excluding merger effects and special items, a leap from $1.855 billion in the same period a year earlier. If revenue linked to the merger of Exxon and Mobil is included, the figure is $4.530 billion, compared to $1.954 billion the year before.
