The Loughrea Euro Town website, www.eurotownloughrea.ie, which provides a practical guide for small businesses on changing over to transacting in euro, went live yesterday. The site details the experiences of a number of Loughrea businesses that have completed preparations for using the euro. It also provides guidelines for assessing the suitability of software, cash handling during the dual currency period and training staff.
