Esat Digifone has purchased a controlling interest in Cellular World, the retail chain with 24 outlets, through a capital injection of £2 million. The capital is to be used to fund expansion, the company said in a statement. The move is in direct response to Eircell's recent acquisition of Let's Talk Phones.
