ESB International signs €2.4m deal with Saudi group

Company will provide engineering services to SEC in Saudi Arabia and other locations

ESB International has signed a €2.4 million three year contract to provide engineering services to the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC).

Under the new contract ESB International will provide engineering services to SEC in Saudi Arabia as well as other locations around the globe.

ESB International Managing Director Ollie Brogan said the company is making good inroads in the Middle East.

This new contract allows us to increase our presence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which forms part of our business strategy this year,” he added.

In 2014, ESB International won a €1.4 million contract to supply services to Oman’s Electricity Holding Company SAOC.

ESB International, which is owned by the ESB, is headquartered in Dublin, and employs over 700 staff across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia.
