Japie Deysel is to step down as a director of titanium miner Kenmare Resources, but will remain in his existing role as chief operating officer of the expanded Moma Mine.

Justin Loasby, chairman of Kenmare, recgonished his "contribution to the board".

Meanwhile the Grafton Group, which announced its departure from the Irish Stock Exchange in September in favour of a main listing on the London Stock Exchange, is set to be added to the FTSE 250 index. It will join the mid-cap index on December 20th, along with other new entrants including retailer Carphone Warehouse, real estate group Foxtons and retailer JD Sports Fashion.

The recent flotation of Royal Mail will see the postal group added to the FTSE 100.
