Eircom has announced reductions of more than 50 per cent for all national freefone service providers and callers. The reductions apply to its freefone 1800, callsave 1850 and locall 1890 telemarketing services.

For service providers the cost of receiving a one minute call from a mobile to the locall 1890 service has been cut from 12.9 pence to 4.8 pence, it said. The minimum fee had also been cut from 11.5 pence to 5 pence for calls to and from mobiles to locall 1890 and callsave 1850 services, Eircom said.
