The National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA) has sold a further €1 billion of 15-year Government bonds.

The 2030 bonds were sold at a yield of 1.65 per cent, the agency said.

It received bids of nearly €2.3 billion - 2.3 times the amount on offer - reflecting the strength of demand in the market.

The NTMA has raised €13 billion from its stated target range of €12-15 billion in the bond markets this year.

The agency sold €1 billion worth of 15-year bonds last month at a yield of 1.8 per cent.
