Budget 2021: How The Irish Times will be covering it

It is almost upon us, Budget 2021. When Minister for Finance Paschal Donohoe, followed by Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform Michael McGrath, gets to his feet at 1pm on Tuesday we will be there, bringing you all the latest news, comment, analysis and videos on the events of the day.

Our live blog will be running from early morning until the budget day is done. We’ll also keep you up to date across all our social media platforms.

Tuesday morning:

1pm:

Paschal Donohoe takes to his feet in the Dáil for his speech, to be followed by Michael McGrath. As well as the live blog, we will bring you a rolling summary of the main points and highlights as they emerge. We will be live streaming the speeches on our site as well.

After the speech:

He will be joined by Cliff Taylor, and Jennifer Bray of The Irish Times and by Liam Diamond from PwC, Eoghan O’Mara Walsh of ITIC and Patricia Callan of Ibec to discuss what Budget 2021 means for consumers, the economy and businesses.
