Budget 2019: How ‘The Irish Times’ will be covering it

Budget 2019 is almost upon us. It may have had more leaks than a colander but, when Minister for Finance Paschal Donohoe clears his throat at 1pm on Tuesday, we will be there to bring you all the news, comment, analysis and videos on the events of the day. We'll also keep you up to date across all our social media platforms.

Here is how our Budget 2019 coverage will happen:

10am: Join The Irish Times budget team and our in-house experts for the budget live blog, which will bring you the build-up to the minister's speech, keep you up to speed on the news as it breaks, the details of new measures, initial reaction, and the best of social media comment. During the live blog, our politics team will also provide instant analysis of the measures as they are announced.

1pm: Paschal Donohoe takes to his feet in the Dáil for his speech. As well as the live blog, we will bring you a rolling summary of the main points and highlights as they emerge. We will be live streaming the speech on our site.

Hugh Linehan and the politics team will discuss how Mr Donohoe performed, in a special Inside Politics podcast on Tuesday evening.
