OVER half a million customers have signed up for the Dunnes Stores Value Club, which offers a 1 per cent return on expenditure of Pounds 200 and over.
The two-week-old scheme uses a magnetic strip swipe card and is aimed at building up a regular customer base.
The operation will also provide Dunnes Stores with a valuable database and mailing list, giving them a profile of how much specific customers spend in their outlets.
