Those trying to grin bravely and bear the bad dot.com news over the past months might as well just sit down and pour a stiff one. Since last December, 31,056 dot.com people have been told their jobs are now non-existant, according to the charmingly - and seasonally - named Chicago outplacement firm Challenger Gray & Christmas.
