French food group Danone will sell Irish Biscuits, the Tallaght company which employs 600 people

French food group Danone will sell Irish Biscuits, the Tallaght company which employs 600 people. Unions will meet management early next week to discuss the implications of the sale. Irish Biscuits is the operating subsidiary for Jacobs. Some 65 per cent of the group's sales are in the Irish market and it holds less than 50 per cent of the Irish biscuit market.
