ONE of the Waterford Coop directors who has publicly opposed the proposal to merge with Avonmore has stated that there is significant opposition to the merger among coop shareholders.

Mr Michael Queally, whose Kilmeaden Advisory Committee has rejected the proposals, said the major concern among coop shareholders is the lack of information being made available.
