Directory assistance services Conduit has announced that it is to provide directory services to Telewest Communications in the UK. The deal will involve Conduit providing national and international directory assistance services and processing directory enquiry calls from Telewest's franchise areas in the UK. It follows service trials over a six month period.

The service contract starts in January and will be provided from Conduit's call centre in Cardiff.
