As Christmas approaches, the relief agency Concern Worldwide has launched a comprehensive website (www.concern.ie) carrying more than 300 pages featuring project and country information, employment opportunities and fundraising ideas. The public can also make credit card donations to the overseas charity online. The website, which has been sponsored by Telecom Eireann was created and constructed by Eirtrade. The site provides detailed historical and statistical data and carries links to relevant sites for alternative sources of information. Other features include an interactive schools section, features, eyewitness accounts and overseas job opportunities.
