The Thai restaurant group Saba is to continue on the expansion trail following the granting of planning permission for a new restaurant at 22 Upper Baggot Street in Dublin 4.
Located close to Tesco and opposite Donnybrook Fair, the unit extends to 196sq m (2,109sq ft) and was previously occupied by Victor Chandler Bookmakers.
The new rent is believed to be in the region of €85,000.
Upper Baggot Street has seen a sharp pick up in business over the past year with most offices now fully occupied and a number of new restaurants opening including Cocu, Eathos and Barlottie.
Daniel McLoughlin of Bannon acted for the landlord on the Saba letting while Mervyn Ellis of BNP Paribas Real Estate advised the tenant.
