A tastefully restored retail building directly opposite the busy Tesco supermarket at 2 Upper Rathmines Road in Dublin 6 has come on the letting market through agent Knight Frank.

The two-storey building originally served as an annexe to the adjoining Rathmines Post Office and was used as a medical centre in recent years.

New owners have spent a small fortune on upgrading and modernising the building which dates from 1935.

Knight Frank is seeking a minimum rent of €30,000 for the building which has a ground-floor area of almost 33sq m (349sq ft) and 42sq m (446sq ft) on the upper floor.
