Refurbished Rathmines apartment block for sale for €1.6m

Six newly refurbished and refitted apartments in a three-storey block in Rathmines, Dublin 6, are to be offered for sale at €1.6 million through agents Hooke & MacDonald.

The homes are located in Trinity House on Church Road, just off Upper Rathmines Road, and are producing a rent roll of €121,200 per annum. The five three-bed units rent at €1,750 per month while the one-bed makes €1,350.

The apartments date from the 1970s and in the last six months were fitted with modern kitchens, bathrooms, floors and furniture.

Each of the apartments is allocated a car parking space in the grounds and there is also a derelict garage and yard to the rear which could possibly accommodate one or two new townhouses.

Enda Moore of Hooke & MacDonald said the apartment building would show a gross yield of 8.4 per cent after attributing a valuation of €150,000 for the rear development site.
