Office tenant sought for restored Dublin church

A new marketing campaign has been launched to find an appropriate office tenant for the restored St George’s Church beside Temple Street children’s hospital in Dublin’s north inner city.

Property consultant Arthur Ryan is quoting an overall rent of €300,000 for the former church which has been meticulously restored and fitted out with all the latest services at an overall cost of €10 million.

He said the 19th century church would appeal parti- cularly to medical organisations and specialist companies engaged in marketing, information technology and other businesses.


Meeting rooms
The landmark church at Hardwicke Place, Temple Street, Dublin 1, has an overall floor area of 2,043sq m (22,000sq ft) including two free-standing floors which have been inserted into the fabric of the building.

The lower ground floor provides ancillary accommodation which could be used as meeting rooms or as storage space. The building has been fitted out with toilet and kitchen facilities and has been wired with category 5 data cabling.

The church is owned by Navan property developer Eugene O’Connor, who has restored several old churches in recent years.
