Mountpark Baldonnell leases its final unit to United Drug

Mountpark Logistics agrees lease for 11,044sq m unit

Mountpark Logistics has just agreed to lease a 11,044sq m (118,876sq ft) unit at Mountpark Baldonnell logistics park to United Drug.

This means that Mountpark Baldonnell – a €40 million logistics development of 29,915sq m (322,002sq ft) between Casement Aerodrome and Baldonnell Business Park – is fully let. It is one of the first spec-built logistics facilities in Dublin for quite some time.

United Drug has agreed a long-term lease for Unit A, which will become its main warehouse facility. Details of the letting, through CBRE and Knight Frank, are not being revealed, but the going rate for similar space in the area is about €97 per sq m (€9 per sq ft).

The property, at Barney's Lane on the N7 Naas Road, is about 6km from the M50. It was built in under nine months by contractor mac-group. United Drug is likely to begin operations there in mid-2019.

Mountpark Logistics EU is a UK-based property development company. Managing director Philip O’Callaghan says Mountpark is now “actively looking for other projects in south Dublin”.
