Grafton acquires UK-based building supplies firm

DIY and building group Grafton has acquired UK-based Crescent Building Supplies for an undisclosed sum.

Crescent, which trades from three branches in West London and one in Berkshire, had a turnover of £10.5 million for it last financial year.

The Irish building group said "this bolt-on acquisition" would the company's coverage of the merchanting market in West London and the South East of England.
